Based on the success of the events, in 1997 the company ventured into bridal attire, as a result Elegant Brides was birthed in Hallandale, Florida.
Elegant Brides popularity grew almost overnight, created waves in the industry as the first bridal boutique in the South Florida area to offer a complete line of African inspired and traditional wedding attire. In September 1998, Elegant Brides was recognized and honored as the New Business of the year by the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce.
Jacqui is an experienced professional who has enjoyed an incredible career for over thirty years working in Hospitality and Events industry in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She is driven by results and has established a solid track record of success in creating winning solutions for her clients. One of Jacqui’s career highlights was the opportunity to return to her home country of Jamaica in 2002 to drive the sales effort for Caribbean market at the Wyndham Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Montego Bay. She had the pleasure to represent the property, now the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa, for over 18 years. Throughout the years, she assisted clients in planning their meetings and events, negotiating their contracts by finding innovative and mutually beneficial solutions.

CONFERENCE DIRECTOR
Geraldine Rose Geddes, Conference Director with over Twenty Five (25) years of experience working locally and internationally. Geraldine Geddes served in the Public Sector where she worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. At this Ministry, she worked in the Protocol and Consular Division, the Office of the Minister and the Jamaican Embassy in Caracas, Venezuela. Geraldine has also worked with the United Nations Environment Programme as a Bilingual Administrator.
Over the years, Geraldine Geddes has coordinated all areas of Protocol as required for State and Official visits as well as for local and international events. She has also planned and coordinated local and international meetings and conferences including those hosted by The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Petrocaribe, the CHASE Fund, Ministry of Water and Housing, Ministry of Environment and Housing, Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing; Ministry of Health, Ministry, of Economic Growth and Job Creation, the National Water Commission/Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association, MICO University College, and the World Bank. As a Conference Coordinator she has also successfully led sponsorship programs, attracting sponsors from the Caribbean, North America, Latin America and Europe.
Geraldine Geddes has provided Conference Coordination, Training and Bilingual services (English & Spanish) for over Twenty (20) years to the International Seabed Authority, Kingston, Jamaica.
